Imagery was captured for Taranaki Regional Council by AAM NZ Limited, 6 Ossian St, NAPIER, New Zealand

Data comprises:
•6,043 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:2,000 tile layout
•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.

The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.

Lidar was captured for Otago Regional Council by Aerial Surveys in March and April 2016. The datasets were generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand.

This layer contains the DSM for LiDAR data from the Mackenzie Region, Canterbury captured in 2015.

Lidar was captured for Genesis Energy Limited by Aerial Surveys Limited in Feb 2015. The original dataset was generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. This reprocessed dataset was supplied by Aerial Surveys to Land Information New Zealand, and includes a large area (peripheral data from the original survey). The survey area is in the Mackenzie District of Canterbury, between Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, Lake Ohau and Lake Ruataniwha. This area also includes Twizel Township. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand.

Data comprises:

  • DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout

  • DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout
