Orthophotography within the Otago Region taken in the flying seasons (summer period) 2018. Coverage encompassed the urban areas within the Central Otago District.
Imagery was captured for Central Otago District Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Albany,0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises:
•898 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:1,000 tile layout
•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 10.0cm pixel resolution (0.1m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.2 m @ 95% confidence level in clear open areas (2 sigma).

The DBL60-NZGD2000 grid enables the conversion of normal-orthometric heights from the Dunedin-Bluff 1960 local vertical datum directly to New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000) ellipsoidal heights.
DBL60-NZGD2000 is published on a one arc-minute grid (approximately 1.8 kilometres) extending over the benchmarks that nominally define the extent of the Dunedin-Bluff 1960 vertical datum (167.4° E to 169.9° E, 45.0° S to 46.7° S).
The conversion value is represented by the attribute “delta”, in metres.
This grid is a combination of New Zealand Quasigeoid 2016 NZGeoid2016 and the DBL60-NZVD2016 height conversion grid. Where NZGeoid2016 is the reference surface for the New Zealand Vertical Datum 2016 (NZVD2016), while the DBL60-NZVD2016 grid models the difference between the Dunedin-Bluff 1960 vertical datum and NZVD2016 using the LINZ GPS-levelling marks.

This layer contains the Index Tiles for LiDAR data in the Otago Region, north of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding Queenstown and Arrowtown, captured in 2021.
The DEM is available as layer Otago - Queenstown LiDAR 1m DEM (2021).
The DSM is available as layer Otago - Queenstown LiDAR 1m DSM (2021).
The LAS point cloud and vendor project reports are available from OpenTopography.
LiDAR was captured for the Queenstown Lakes District Council by Landpro on the 13th and 14th of March 2021. These datasets were generated by Landpro Ltd and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand.
Data comprises:
DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout
DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout
Point cloud: las tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout
Pulse density specification is at a minimum of >4 pulses/square metre.
Vertical accuracy specification is +/- 0.2 m (95%).
Horizontal accuracy specification is +/- 1.0 m (95%).
Vertical datum is NZVD2016.
