Abstract
Orthophotography within the Bay of Plenty Region taken in March 2019.
Imagery was captured for the ‘BOPLASS Ltd’ by AAM NZ Limited, 6 Ossian St, Napier, New Zealand.
Data comprises: •67 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:5,000 tile layout •Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 30cm pixel resolution (0.30m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ± 2.0 m @ 90% confidence level.

Project AAM was engaged by BOPLASS Ltd to acquire aerial photography and create 0.30m GSD orthophotography in the Bay of Plenty Region. Total project area is ~12,182 sq km.
Data Acquisition: Acquisition Imagery over the project occurred on 5th March 2019 from a fixed wing aircraft.
Ground Support: GPS base station support was sourced from continuously operating reference stations in and around the project area. Existing and new ground control points were field surveyed by Opus International Consultants.
