Orthophotography within the Porirua City urban area in the Porirua City District totalling approximately 139 km2. The area of capture is located within the Wellington Region of the North Island, and captured in the flying seasons (summer period) 2019-2020.
Imagery was captured for Porirua City Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Albany,0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises: • 1,667 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:500 tile layout • Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 10cm pixel resolution (0.15m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.15 m @ 95% confidence level.

Project Aerial photography was captured over the Porirua City urban area in the Porirua City District totalling approximately 74 km2. The area of capture is located within the Wellington Region of the North Island.
Data Acquisition The aerial photography for this project was captured within the 2019/20 flying season (September 2019 – April 2020). The aerial imagery was captured on the following date: 25 February 2020.
Camera All photography was captured using Vexcel's digital UCE camera fitted with the 100 mm lens and flown at an altitude of approximately 6,309 ft (1,923 m) with the lowest ground GSD set at 0.10 m.
Sun Angle Imagery captured with a minimum sun angle of +40 degrees. The sun angle of the imagery used for the orthorectification ranged from 41.4 to 52.6 degrees.
Flight Planning The flight survey number for this project is SN14099.
The urban area flight plan is named 'Porirua urban 10cm UCE V2' and comprises 12 runs, 304 frames. All urban imagery captured in stereo: forward overlap 60%, min 54%; side overlap 35%, min 15%.
The Porirua CBD area flight plan is named 'Porirua CBD 10cm 80-80 UCE' and comprises 1 runs, 5 frames. All CBD imagery captured in stereo: forward overlap 80%; side overlap 80%.
