Marlborough 0.1m Urban Aerial Photos (2020-2021)

Orthophotography within the Marlborough District taken in the flying seasons (summer period) 2020-2021. Coverage encompassed the urban areas within the Marlborough District Council area.
Imagery was captured for Marlborough District Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Albany,0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises:
•5359 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:500 tile layout
•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 10 cm pixel resolution (0.1m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.2 m @ 95% confidence level.

Project
Aerial photography was captured over many urban areas of the Marlborough District totalling
approximately 463 km2. The areas of capture are located in the Marlborough Region of the
North Island.
Data Acquisition
The aerial photography for this project was captured within the 2020-2021 flying season on the following dates: October 16 2020, November 13 2020, November 14 2020, Jan 5 2021, Jan 15 2021.
Camera
All photography was captured using Vexcel's digital UCE camera and flown at: 0.1 m GSD: 6,309 ft (1,923 m) flying height. Camera Lens: 100 mm
Sun Angle
Imagery captured with a minimum sun angle of +35 degrees. The sun angle of the imagery used for the orthorectification ranged from 38.6 to 64.1 degrees.
Flight Planning
The flight plan comprises 57 runs, and 988 frames. All imagery captured in stereo: forward overlap 60%, min 54%, side overlap 35%, min 15%.
