Orthophotography of the urban areas within Masterton, flown in January 2021.


Imagery was captured for the ‘Masterton District Council’ by AAM NZ Limited, 6 Ossian St, NAPIER, New Zealand.



Data comprises:

• Imagery Area: 92.448 km2
• 1070 x ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:500 tile layout

•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.



The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.



Imagery supplied as 7.5cm pixel resolution (0.075m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF.

The final spatial accuracy is ±0.2m @ 90% confidence level.

AAM NZ was engaged by Masterton DC to undertake acquisition Aerial Survey (imagery) for
Orthophotos products. Aerial photography was captured between 4th and 25th January 2021.

 0.075m gsd, RGB orthophotos, uncompressed TIF/TFW, NZTopo50 1:500 tiles
 0.075m gsd, RGB orthophotos , ECW, NZTopo50 1:500 tiles
 0.075m gsd RGB ECW mosaics
 Orthophoto DTM – ESRI ASCII grid
 Tile Index Metadata in Shapefile format
 Project Report - PDF file format.

The positional accuracy for this dataset is +/- 0.2m (90% confidence in clear, open areas). This dataset is supplied in NZTM.
