Orthophotography within the Tasman District taken in the flying seasons (summer period) 2020-2021. Coverage is of the Richmond area in the Tasman region.
Imagery was captured for Tasman District Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Rosedale, 0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises: •165 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:1,000 tile layout •Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 7.5cm pixel resolution (0.075m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.1 m @ 68% confidence level.

Project Aerial photography was captured over the Richmond area in the Tasman District totalling approximately 47.5 km2. The areas of capture are located in the Tasman Region of the South Island.
Data Acquisition The aerial photography for this project was captured within the 2020/21 flying season on the following dates: 16 & 22 October 2020, 19 November 2020, 17 December 2020, and 5 & 15 January 2021.
Camera All photography was captured using Vexcel's digital UCE100 camera, fitted with a 100 mm lens, and flown at: 0.075 m GSD: 4,740 ft (1,444 m) flying height.
Sun Angle Imagery captured with a sun angle between 47 and 72 degrees.
Flight Planning SN14013 Richmond 20-21 7.5cm: 9 runs, 181 frames Stereo capture: Forward overlap 60%, min 54%. Side overlap 35%, min 15%.
Environmental Specification Imagery captured with no cloud and minimal cloud shadow within the area of interest. Imagery captured within 1.5 hours either side of low tide.
