Palmerston North 0.125m Urban Aerial Photos (2012-13)
Orthophotography for the Pamerston North City Council taken in the flying season (summer period) 2012-13. Coverage encompassed the Pamerston North City urban area.
Imagery was captured for the ‘Pamerston North City Council’ by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Albany,0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises:
•516 x ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:1,000 tile layout
•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. The products are tiled into NZTopo50 1:1,000 tiles. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 12.5cm pixel resolution (0.125m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is +/-0.25m.

The project area covered the Palmerston North City area.
The Aerial Surveys number for this project is PRGM2405.
Digital imagery was collected on 20 December 2012, using Aerial Survey's Microsoft UCLp large-format digital cameras.
Because no field verification has been undertaken it is always recommend the user to field verify
any data to be used for design purposes.
All Features are derived from a Photogrammetric process unless otherwise shown.
The DTM for this project was created from photography flown on a different date to the orthophotos, subsequent changes in the ground surface from the DTM surface will result in distortions to the orthophotos
