This dataset was first added to LINZ Data Service on 17 Jul 2018.

This layer contains the DSM for LiDAR data encompassing coastal areas from Onekaka in the North to Riwaka in the South captured in 2016.

Lidar was captured for Tasman District Council by AAM New Zealand in December 2016. The datasets were generated by AAM New Zealand and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand.

Data comprises:

  • DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout

  • DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout

  • Point cloud: las tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:2,000 tile layout

Pulse density specification is 2 pulses/square metre.

Vertical accuracy specification is +/- 0.12m (95%).

Horizontal accuracy specification is +/- 1.00m (95%).

This layer contains the Index Tiles for LiDAR data from Golden Bay - Aorere Extension, Lee Dam, St Arnaud and Farewell Spit captured in 2017.

Lidar was captured for Tasman District Council by AAM New Zealand in November and December 2017. The datasets were generated by AAM New Zealand and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand.

Data comprises:

This layer contains the Index Tiles for LiDAR data from the Mackenzie Region, Canterbury captured in 2015.

Lidar was captured for Genesis Energy Limited by Aerial Surveys Limited in Feb 2015. The original dataset was generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. This reprocessed dataset was supplied by Aerial Surveys to Land Information New Zealand, and includes a large area (peripheral data from the original survey). The survey area is in the Mackenzie District of Canterbury, between Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, Lake Ohau and Lake Ruataniwha. This area also includes Twizel Township. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand.

Data comprises:
