Landonline: Parcel Ring
**Please read:** This table is part of the comprehensive Full Landonline Dataset and is designed for use only by data professionals who require the complex version of our property ownership and boundary data for advanced uses. For a simplified version of data contained within this table see our [property ownership and boundary data](https://data.linz.govt.nz/data/category/property-ownership-boundaries/). *************************
This table stores one record for each ring in a polygonal (e.g. fee simple) parcel or for the line sequence of a lineal (e.g. centreline) parcel. A polygonal parcel may have multiple rings, some of which may be exterior (i.e. polygons) or interior (i.e. holes). If a ring is an inner ring, its parent (i.e. bounding exterior ring) is specified in pri_id_parent_ring; otherwise, this field is NULL. The Parcel Ring record may not actually be a ring in the case of a lineal (e.g. centreline) parcel. The actual sequence of lines that define the ring is contained in the Parcel Boundary table.
Please refer to the [LDS Full Landonline Data Dictionary and Models](https://data.linz.govt.nz/document/95) for detailed metadata about this table.
The Full Landonline Dataset is specifically intended to cater for those users who have a requirement to access large volumes of data on a regular basis. The extract allows the recipient to recreate the database held in Landonline. It does not enhance the data in any way, other than to make it available in a standard formats. Entire table views are exported. Consequently, the extracted data covers the entire country, rather then individual areas or pre-defined geographic extents.
