LINZ Managed Crown Property to Parcel Association
Property Parcel Association
This table is used to associate LINZ Managed Crown Properties to current primary spatial parcels. For some records, there is a one to many relationship between properties and parcels.
This table can be used to link the [LINZ Managed Crown Property](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/3358-linz-managed-crown-property/) dataset to parcel layers such as [NZ Parcels](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/1571-nz-parcels/), [NZ Linear Parcels](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/1570-nz-linear-parcels/) or [NZ Primary Parcels](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/772-nz-primary-parcels/)
More information on Crown Property can be found under the [Crown Property section](http://www.linz.govt.nz/crown-property) on the LINZ Website.
This table contains the association between LINZ Managed Property and Primary Parcels.

This layer sources its information from the NaPALIS system, which includes LINZ properties and LINZ managed properties from other agencies. Data in the layer is updated through internal processes including acquisition or disposal of land. In some instances data may be out of date or the incorrect parcel identified.
Properties are linked to corresponding primary parcel(s) where available, or in some instances to unsurveyed parcels when the boundaries have been identified in land status checks and are made up of part parcels. Land is managed under the Crown Forest Assets Act, Pastoral Legislation, Land Act and the Public Works Act as well as other legislation.
