In June 2014, LINZ moved the information from the Authoritative Streets and Places database (ASP) into Landonline and the ASP database is no longer maintained.

This table is a lookup table identifying valid states for the unofficial field in the street and place tables. Records are set to Unofficial where it is known that the name is not recognised by the TA, or if a privately named road, or a place name missing necessary macrons.

Please read: This is the Address Range Road table and is part of the set of NZ Roads tables. The Address Range Road table provides an identifier that groups one or more Road Sections that have a non-standard address range. This currently includes roads that consist of multiple address ranges. The address range values are not held or provided as part of this dataset.

The NZ Roads dataset includes eight data tables and eleven lookup tables. The dataset has been sourced from LINZ’s NZ Roads database, a database for the management of national roads, including those managed for addressing purposes. This set of normalised tables replaces the Landonline: Road Centre Line layer and the Landonline: Road Name and Landonline: Road Name Association tables currently published on LDS.

These centrelines are required to indicate the presence of an authoritative road name. Named centrelines are not intended to represent the exact location of a road formation. Named centrelines do not indicate the presence of legal access.

An Affected Parcel is a Parcel which is affected by the approval of a survey dataset, including any parcels created by the approval of that survey dataset. This table is used to describe the relationship between surveys and parcels.

This table contains the current name, geographic name and any alternative names associated with a mark. The geographic name of a mark refers to the official feature name in the Geographic Names database which may differ from the name of a mark which is emplaced on or near that feature. A mark may have several alternative names but only one current and geographical name should exist. When a mark is placed as part of a cadastral survey dataset (plan) its identity is in terms of the dataset series and ID number allocated and an abbreviated description of either the mark type or purpose. Marks can also be numbered in sequence in accordance with the mark type e.g. IS I DP 3456; IS II DP3456.
