This dataset is to be used in conjunction with the Fire and Emergency NZ Localities dataset to identify and provide official locality names where a name exists in the New Zealand Gazetteer.
The Fire and Emergency NZ Localities dataset currently contains many names that are not the official names for those features, suburbs or localities.
The New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, Section 32 requires all official documents to identify names which are not the official place names as recorded in the New Zealand Gazetteer. As such this table identifies locality names and the matching official name where an official name in the Gazetteer exists, but Locality name differs from it.
It does not take into account any differences in Locality boundaries and the boundary definition of place names in the Gazetteer.
This table is a best endeavour and not comprehensive, but will improve over time.

Please read: This table is part of the comprehensive Full Landonline Dataset and is designed for use only by data professionals who require the complex version of our property ownership and boundary data for advanced uses.
This table contains detailed information about changes to Landonline coordinates, and how accurate they are. This can be combined with data in other tables to assess the likely reliability of coordinates by providing details of the adjustment date, connections to geodetic control and amount the coordinates changed by at each adjustment.
Please refer to the LDS Full Landonline Data Dictionary and Models for detailed metadata about this table.

Please read: This is the Address Range Road table and is part of the set of NZ Roads tables. The Address Range Road table provides an identifier that groups one or more Road Sections that have a non-standard address range. This currently includes roads that consist of multiple address ranges. The address range values are not held or provided as part of this dataset.
The NZ Roads dataset includes eight data tables and eleven lookup tables. The dataset has been sourced from LINZ’s NZ Roads database, a database for the management of national roads, including those managed for addressing purposes. This set of normalised tables replaces the Landonline: Road Centre Line layer and the Landonline: Road Name and Landonline: Road Name Association tables currently published on LDS.
These centrelines are required to indicate the presence of an authoritative road name. Named centrelines are not intended to represent the exact location of a road formation. Named centrelines do not indicate the presence of legal access.
For a simplified version of the data contained within these tables see NZ Roads (Addressing), which aggregates geometries based on road name, and NZ Roads Subsections (Addressing), which holds the individual geometries.
Please refer to the NZ Roads Data Dictionary for detailed metadata and information about this layer.

This table records which current primary parcels are contained with DOC Administered Protected Areas. Most Protected Areas will be made up of more than one primary parcels.
This table can be used to link the DOC Administered Protected Areas dataset to parcel layers such as NZ Parcels, NZ Linear Parcels or NZ Primary Parcels
DOC cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information contained in this table, but rather it represents best endeavours to maintain an accurate record of conservation land.

This table is used to associate LINZ Managed Crown Properties to current primary spatial parcels. For some records, there is a one to many relationship between properties and parcels.
This table can be used to link the LINZ Managed Crown Property dataset to parcel layers such as NZ Parcels, NZ Linear Parcels or NZ Primary Parcels
More information on Crown Property can be found under the Crown Property section on the LINZ Website.
