Please read: This is the look-up table for Address Position Type and is part of the set of comprehensive AIMS Address Tables.
The Address Position Type look-up table is used by the following tables; AIMS: Address Position.
The comprehensive address dataset includes eight data tables and nine lookup tables. The dataset has been sourced from LINZ’s Address Information Management System (AIMS), a centralised database for the management of national addresses, including for electoral purposes. This set of normalised tables replaces the single Landonline: Street Address layer currently published on LDS.
This layer contains information advised to LINZ by Territorial Authorities (TAs). Under the Local Government Act 1974 (section 319) it is the responsibility of the TAs to advise LINZ (the Surveyor General) of all allocated addresses in their district.
For a simplified version of the data contained within these tables see NZ Street Address.
Please refer to the Street Address Data Dictionary for detailed metadata and information about this layer.

Please read: The AIMS: Address data table is part of the set of comprehensive AIMS Address Tables.
The Address table contains details relating to the creation and updating of an address including the version of an address.
This table uses a Primaryaddressid to manage the relationship between primary and sub-address. Sub-addresses are addresses contained within a primary address site, e.g. an apartment building, block of flats or marina. If the Primaryaddressid is populated the address is a sub-address. The Primaryaddressid will be captured over time. Core data associated with an address such as street number or road name is not stored in the Address table, this data is stored in the Address Component table. Please Note: The primary and sub-address funtionality will be added at a later date.

This dataset was first added to LINZ Data Service on 10 Feb 2015.
In June 2014 the Authoritative Streets and Places (ASP) database was decommissioned, and at the same time a new Landonline SUFI was created for each unique road name / locality combination in the Landonline Road Name table.
Prior to this change the Landonline Road Name table held the ASP Street SUFI in its Locality field, and a join was made between these two tables in order to populate the Landonline Locality field with the ASP locality name prior to release on the LDS.
Following this change the Locality field in the Landonline Road Name table was updated to show the locality name as held in the ASP Street table.
This table shows the mapping between the new Landonline Road Name SUFI and the old ASP Street SUFI.
The Topo50 Road Centrelines data previously included the name_id attribute (equivalent to asp_sufi), which has now been changed to the new rna_sufi attribute (equivalent to landonline_sufi).

This table provides the last updated date for survey plan images that are held in Landonline. Survey plans images typically remain unchanged after approval. However plan images are sometime replaced with a new copy when the original scanned is corrupt, is of a low quality or is found to be in error.
Each survey plan can have more than one survey plan image. E.g. Imperial plan black and white, Imperial plan colour or Digital Title Plan, Digital Survey Plan.
Note: This table does not contain the actual survey images which are available via the Landonline application www.landonline.govt.nz/
